Event details
Members of our club meet at Balnarring Community Hall on the last Friday of each month (excluding December) commencing at 9:30 am.
Our meetings provide an opportunity for retired and semi retired local men to engage in a variety of activities in a congenial environment which encourages fellowship and fun.
Regular features include photographic exhibitions, musical interludes and guest speakers who are invariably a source of information and entertainment.
Our most recent speaker was a former President, Peter Braithwaite, who outlined his fascinating research project on Defensive Gun Emplacement sites of Western Port in World War II.
Our speaker at the next meeting on 31 May will be David Gill, the Red Hill Ward Councillor and current mayor of the Shire of Mornington.
On 28 June, we will be addressed by the Executive Officer of the Western Port Biosphere Reserve Foundation, Greg Hunt, who has a wealth of experience in the areas of teaching, climate change, environmental studies and regional development.
Our club also hosts a variety of activities including book groups, photography, cycling, chess, wine appreciation, cinema, outings, dine outs and a renowned choir.
New members and visitors are always welcomed.
